This is an anti-spam measurment. You probably posted to some list from
a different address than you used for your subscription. The netbsd-posters
list is used to collect such addresses; nothing is ever mailed to that
list.

Thanks, can I keep on using the other address, the one I have not used
for my registration?

Alternatively is there a way to mass-transfer all my subscriptions
from one address to the other?

Sure, there is no impact (besides the confusing one-time message you got).
